\nGZ Industries (Ltd) (GZI), the leading manufacturer of beverage cans in West Africa, approached SBS\u00ae Solutions SA for conceptual quotes for a comprehensive clean and wastewater storage solution for their new Gauteng plant. A combined storage capacity of 700kl was required on a limited footprint.
\nSBS\u00ae Solutions SA designed a new tank specifically for this contract, the ST06-07, to provide the most suitable solution. Seven tanks, three for the back-up storage of potable water and four to store wastewater, were supplied. Chemical resistant liners were fitted to the wastewater tanks, which allowed for recycling back into the production line. These tanks were fitted with side wall access hatches and dump drains with special nozzles to connect on a \u201choney sucker\u201d suction pipe to remove sludge. The three pairs of adjacent tanks shared a single access ladder with a connecting gang walk at the top providing a cost saving to client.<\/p>\n
