    The SBS® Tanks Elevated Tank Range raises the bar with our tried and tested technologically advanced water storage tanks installed at heights to boost water pressure delivery. In addition to the extended lifespan, 10-year No Leak Warranty and tank features of a standard SBS® water storage tank, the Elevated Range offers peace of mind, safeguarding the integrity of the water from possible contamination or tampering.

    A New Era For Municipal Reservoirs: Steel Water Storage Tanks

    Kirkwood Water Supply Scheme Reservoir Project

    Location: Kirkwood and Bontrug, Eastern Cape, South Africa

    Challenge: The Sundays River Valley Municipality required additional treated water storage to maintain reliable supply to multiple communities during planned canal maintenance shutdowns and improve long-term water security.

    SBS Solution: SBS Tanks supplied and installed two ST31/09 modular steel panel reservoirs with a combined storage capacity of approximately 6 million litres. The project included engineering support, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning and project management in partnership with Ruwacon and Newground Projects.

    Result: The completed reservoirs provide critical backup water storage for Kirkwood, Aqua Park, Bergsig, Moses Mabhida and Msengeni, improving system resilience and ensuring continuity of supply during maintenance periods.

    Fire Water Storage Tanks for Manufacturer of Renowned Brands

    SBS Solutions East Africa Limited, a division of SBS Tanks Pty Ltd, recently completed the successful installation of two bulk fire water storage tanks for Kenyan Wine Agencies (KWAL). The two  ST15/05 SBS Tanks, standing at just over six metres tall, have a capacity of 516,000 litres each. Combined, the premium ISO-certified fire suppression water tanks store over 1 million litres.

    Fairview Estates in Ballito required a bulk water storage tank to store the potable (drinking) drawn from a borehole after it had gone through a filtration plant. SBS Tanks installed an ST17/03 from the Standard Tank Range, which provides the estate with 300,000 litres of drinking water storage.
