Privacy and data-use information for SBS Marketing Data Automation, including how authorised marketing, analytics and advertising platform data is accessed, used, stored, protected and retained.
SBS Marketing Data Automation is an internal SBS application used to collect, process and analyse authorised data from third-party marketing, advertising, analytics and digital-platform services and APIs for internal marketing measurement, reporting, analysis and optimisation.
These services may include Google services and APIs, Meta platforms and APIs, LinkedIn services and APIs, and other authorised marketing or analytics platforms configured by SBS from time to time.
The application only accesses data for SBS-owned, SBS-managed or otherwise authorised digital properties, advertising accounts, social media accounts and platform services. The specific data accessed depends on the permissions granted to each platform integration and may include marketing performance data, advertising performance data, search performance data, social media performance data, account information and related reporting data.
Data accessed through authorised APIs is used solely for legitimate SBS business purposes, including internal marketing measurement, management reporting, campaign evaluation, digital performance analysis, optimisation and the preparation of internal dashboards and reports.
Data may be stored in SBS-controlled Google Sheets, Google Cloud services and other authorised SBS reporting or data-management systems. SBS applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure.
Data accessed through authorised platform APIs is not sold to third parties. Access is limited to authorised SBS personnel and approved service providers where access is required to operate, maintain or support SBS marketing, analytics and reporting systems.
Data is retained only for as long as reasonably required for SBS reporting, analytics, business, legal and record-keeping purposes, subject to applicable law, SBS data-retention practices and the specific requirements of the platform from which the data was obtained.
Where a platform, user or applicable policy requires deletion of data obtained through an API, SBS will process such deletion in accordance with the relevant platform requirements and applicable law.
SBS Marketing Data Automation complies with the applicable developer, API, privacy and data-use requirements of the third-party platforms it connects to.
For Google APIs, SBS Marketing Data Automation’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where Google Workspace API data is accessed, raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will not be used to develop, improve or train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
